The Women’s Therapy Centre Association (WTCA) is an inclusive group for graduates and faculty of The WTCI. Together we explore the intersection of psychoanalysis, gender, race, culture, class, religion, and LGBTG issues through readings, discussions, committee work, media, and social activities. We gather three times a year for presentations by members or our own community or to learn from an invited guest. One of these meetings focuses on a book chosen as the Summer Read.
Our smaller working committees—made up of WTCA members–include Diversity, Clinical Training, Alumnae Education, Recruitment, 6-week groups on body problems, Connect and Change (pro-bono work with survivors of domestic abuse), and our annual events, which are the Speak Out called Indwelling and the Laurie Phillips Lecture.
Women’s Therapy Centre Association members are offered a discount on all WTCI Continuing Education courses.
