With the guidance of Carrie, Panzer, LCSW, participants will explore the various kinds of grief and loss people face during their lives. Using both a historical and contemporary lens, participants will gain insight into how grief and loss impacts an individual on a personal and collective level. These losses may include the diagnosis of a serious illness, dementia in a loved one, moving somewhere unfamiliar, divorce, or the death of a loved one. The host of losses we are facing due to COVID-19, such as loss of daily routine, work, human contact, and the freedom to go places and see people, will be covered as well. This event is open to the public — anyone 18 or over who could benefit.
